On the 29th and 30th April, we had a leadership practical based on the leadership theory we had selected. The first day, our team Lah, Nemo and I had to act as participants (used to be volunteers to help other groups). Due to lack of volunteers that should have participated the activities, we had no choice and had to be involved in all activities conducted by the other teams. The were two sessions, morning and afternoon. In both sessions, we did experience a lot of new things. Some of the activities and games, for me personally, could be implemented in any of my future activities. Thanks for sharing your ideas mates!!!

The second day, there were only four participants involved in our practical session. But, it was okay. We had to carry on the session. There were 3 activities conducted by our team based on leadership theory we had selected, Emotional Intelligence (I.E). Firstly, the activity was called "CREATIVE INVENTION". In this activity or game, the group had to invent anything they liked. All the stuffs needed were basically from natural resources only. They managed to invent 'hydropower' fan made from leaves and dead branches. In the second activity, LET'S GO FISHING, the participants had to make a fishing rode/line by using only newspaper and things provided glue etc. This game was won by Jason and Zaimah's group. The third activity was called BLIND-FOLDED PIRATE. In this game, they had to elect one leader whom they thought was a good one, in this case, Adrian was elected as a leader. The other three participants were blindfolded. Adrian, the leader, was only provided with one area which he had to stay in that pace in order to give instructions and command to his members. The leader should instruct the team from where he stood in order to move from the starting point of the maze, to the finishing line. The participants had to collect the 'treasure' placed somewhere on their way and to put it at the finishing line. After we had done all the activities, there was a reflection session on the task today. Alhamdulillah, we managed to get good comments from our lecturer and outdoor instructor, Adrian and Jason respectively.

Nothing much to do on Saturday, so as usual, we went for mountain biking instead. We wanted to go to Roundhay Park, Leeds. We started our journey from Headingley town. We used Meanwood road. It took us 30-45 minutes to reach the destination. We took videos and pictures of the park. Rating? personally it was 9.9/10. The place was absolutely amazing. We found out there was also an old castle built in 1821 in that area. Obviously, we took pictures of the castle and then went to another side of the park. There were two main lakes found at the park; upper lake and waterloo lake. You can google about the activities that have been run at the park. I don't need to mention about it. I am wondering if Brunei government can implement the ideas of having those kind of facilities and activities to all Bruneians. It is worth saying that, it is a good idea. I am not saying the current facilities in Brunei are not good, but it needs to be improved so that people especially Bruneians can experience new environment and gain new holistic skills in the outdoors.

We also went to Tropical World which was located on the other side of the park. The entrance fee was £3.40. It was just like a mini zoo consisted a large number of tropical animals. We really enjoyed the environment inside the building. It was really warm and it reminded me about Brunei's daily temperature. ohhh I miss Brunei. Okay enjoy my pictures. I am really tired now. Bye
